Norwegian electro-pop artist AURORA has regaled Australian fans with a breathtaking rendition of The Beatles’, “Across The Universe” on triple j’s Like A Version.

This appearance on triple j’s Like A Version has finished off AURORA’s visit to Australia in perfect form. The recent tour saw her perform floor-shaking shows around the country as part of the touring festival Groovin’ The Moo, as well as sideshows at renowned venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. Each show saw crowds enamoured by AURORA’s stage presence and incomparable vocals, receiving high praise from media around the country.

This beautiful performance for triple j also follows the reveal of yet another stunning music video for AURORA’s third single, “The River”, released on the 10th May via Glassnote Records/AWAL. The stunning visuals showcase AURORA’s unparalleled connection to the natural world.

Following up the poignant and timely video for her second single, “The Seed”, which depicted the current youth protests around the globe for climate change awareness, this new video highlights AURORA’s care for the environment in an entirely different way.
Through the visually arresting metaphor of the earth and its plants growing out from within her body, and her continual struggles to be rid of this growth, AURORA makes comment on humanity’s connection to the land and their wish to disconnect from it, in favour of abusing it for their own gain.
After an enormously successful year so far – which has seen her first single “Animal” achieve high rotation on Triple J, and her second single “The Seed” amass close to 2 million streams on Spotify since its release in April – this third single sees AURORA gearing up for the release of her third full album, A Different Kind of Human (Step II), on June 7th.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
