Australian indie-electronic duo BOO SEEKA share the music video for their brand new single ‘Days Get Better.’

The video plays on the lyrics ‘How long ‘til the days get better?’, telling the story of BOO SEEKA frontmen Ben and Mikey dealing with a slew of annoying situations throughout their day. Somewhat painful and frustrating to watch, but also somewhat amusing, the video encapsulates how a lot of us are feeling at the moment.

The video was directed by Bailey Watts and shot across various locations in Newcastle over 2 days including the duo’s favourite bar ‘Uptowns’.

“We made Ben run through the streets for about an hour for one of the end scenes, Ben had been drinking about 8-9 shots in the bar scene earlier. Poor fella had a few strategic spews in between running takes!” [quote from Michael May]

“Fun fact – Mikey’s 97′ Ford courier ute is shown in one of the first scenes in a ‘fake’ car-crash scene where it looks like he’s run up the bum of another car. After this scene was finished and we were off to another location, a car literally ran up the back of Mikey’s ute minutes before leaving. Could not script it.” [quote from Michael May]

Since being premiered on triple j, ‘Days Get Better’ has accumulated more than 75,000 streams, landed coveted spots on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday AU/NZ, Weekend + Friends and The Local List, being referred to by Thomas Bleach as ‘a breath of fresh air, and an anthemic journey of hope which we can all relate to right now’.
