18 year old from Hobart/Tasmania. Songs written, recorded and mixed by Carl. During the time of 2017 Carl Renshaw has supported names such as Wolfmother, Tash Sultana, Lime Cordiale, Maddy Jane, NorthEast Party House. Carl was apart of the Triple J Unearthed High Competition in both 2016 and 2017 and has had all his past releases played on Triple J (Home & Hosed, Good Nights, Weekend Arvos) and Triple J Unearthed. Including Reviews and Interest from Richard Kingsmill, Declan Byrne and others.

Influenced by Connan Mockasin, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Mile High Club comes his latest single for “SENCE” that touches on the sound of Psych Pop meets experimental fuzz and noise. Recently joined forces with Jonny Blackwell of Holy Moly Artists for Management and picked up Jimmy Kleiner of 123 Agency in Melbourne for Bookings (Pinkish Blu, Bad Juju, Bare Bones). The single was mixed by Tim McCartney (Assistant Engineered on Gang of Youths – Go Farther in Lightness) at Hercules Street Studios in Sydney and Mastered by Andrew Edgson (Matt Corby, Babaganouj, DMA’S).
This is will be the first time Carl Renshaw heads out to perform his music on the mainland and will be performing at The Marlborough Hotel in Sydney on July 26th with support from Mount Zamia + Space Cabornana, The Penny Black in Melbourne on July 28th with Go Get Mum + Franjapan and The Tah in Hobart on August 3rd with Kat Edwards, Baltimore and Teens.
