Due to the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic, Catherine Britt, has today announced changes to her upcoming Bush Pubs Tour 2020.

There will be one change for the Queensland leg of the tour. The Pituri show at Dangi Pub on Sun 6th Sept has been replaced by Boulia Hotel, Boulia. All other scheduled dates for Queensland will go ahead as planned.

With the recent cancellation of the 130th Oodnadatta Races & Gymkhana – Catherine’s two shows at Oodnadatta Racing and Horse Sports Club (Fri 11th & Sat 12th Sept) – have been cancelled. The good news is that two new shows have been announced for South Australia – The Wheat Sheaf in Adelaide on Friday 11th Sept and The Barn at Wombat Flat, Neales Flat on Saturday 12th Sept.

Special guest for all dates across South Australia and Queensland will be Melody Moko.

All NSW dates have been put on hold until next year, as have Thargomindah QLD and Casterton VIC.

At this stage, Tasmania will proceed as planned but pending further updates on restrictions and border closures in the coming months.

All shows will abide by each State’s Covid rules and regulations. We ask all patrons to follow these and ensure safe social distancing.

A message from Catherine …

“In strange and uncertain times we have to be ready to change and adjust at any moment, and being an artist during this time, releasing new music and attempting to play some live shows is certainly tough”. 

“I want to do what I can to still get out to the people of the bush and bring music to the rural areas – but will only do so if it is safe for all involved. I am sad to have to cancel my home state shows but will be ready to rock in 2021 with a lot more dates and a full tour – hopefully without restrictions. I look forward to playing our QLD and SA shows while still being Covid safe”.
