Tamworth-born singer-songwriter Charlie Collins is today thrilled to announce that her acclaimed debut album, ‘Snowpine’ has received an ARIA nomination for Best Country Album. This marks the first ARIA nomination for Collins, who is currently on tour with Australian country legend, Kasey Chambers, with new music on the horizon.

This comes just as Collins was announced to open for Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers and Troy Cassar-Daley at Scully Park in Tamworth on January 19, 2020.

‘Snowpine’ is an emotive and enchanting debut album; each track on the album is a passionate and unfiltered portrayal of the moments of Collins’ life, containing some of her most personal work to date.

Having cut her teeth touring with some of Australia’s most beloved acts, such as Kasey Chambers and Gang Of Youths, Collins has meticulously honed her sound and live performance, inviting audiences to share in the deeply-intimate magic she creates on-and-off stage.

“’Snowpine’ is about my journey from when I was a kid, to now,” Collins reflects. “I’m nervous and excited to release this vulnerable body of work. I expose a lot about who I am, what I’ve been through, people I love who have suffered, and what I still struggle with. I hope you enjoy my life book, my story, and maybe understand me a little better.”
