Country singer-songwriter Will Day returns with a highly anticipated new single ‘Here to Party’. Released on 25th October, the song is set to become the soundtrack of the upcoming summer months, with this upbeat country rock anthem telling the tale of mates living life to the fullest while finding the perfect party.
“For months now, I’ve been so excited to get this new single and clip out into the world and to the awesome people that follow my music. I feel it’s a real step up for me in the direction I’m heading. When Matt Scullion and I sat down to write this, we just wanted to write a straight up rockin’ party song and I think we’ve achieved that. I can’t wait to hit the road and rock this tune live on tour in the coming months!”
Will has been described by peers in the country music industry as one of the hardest working artists they know. 2018 alone saw him travel some 50,000kms touring regional NSW, ACT along with North and Central QLD. A definite crowd favourite can be put down to his vibrant, energetic stage presence and willingness to give it his all every time he hits the stage. He has opened for the likes of Morgan Evans, Shannon Noll, Icehouse, Diesel, The Whitlams, Hoodoo Gurus, The Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows, Kingswood, Col Finley and The Viper Creek Band while also appearing at some of Australia’s most iconic country music festivals, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival and Gympie Music Muster.
Kicking off 2019 with a bang, Will secured nine straight shows at Tamworth Country Music Festival, where he entertained festival crowds at ’The Late Nights’ at Wests Diggers. March 2019 saw Will release his next single ‘The Real World’ which was co-written with Matt Scullion and reached number 1 on Australian Country Radio. Other highlights include performing at Groundwater Country Music Festival and performing on the main stage at The Gympie Music Muster in the talent search grand final, cementing him as one of Australia’s up and coming acts.
Over the last few years, Will has been steadily building a solid, loyal fan base. With a genuine gift of storytelling, combined with compelling vocals and the ability to connect with a crowd, Will Day is becoming one of Australia’s premier rising artists and one that will undoubtably be around for many years to come.
To coincide with the release of the single, Will is excited to announce the ‘Here to Party Tour’. Commencing with the single launch on 25th October at Eat and Beats in Jimboomba, the tour will roll out throughout Queensland and NSW. Are you ready to party?

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
