With summer already knocking on the front door, Sydney boys Crocodylus have your pre-gig soundtrack covered with their brand new high-energy track ‘Sweaty Already’. The trio are also stoked to announce they will be joining Skeggs as main support for their upcoming ‘No Future’ tour, as well as embarking on a tour of their own throughout November.

Following on from their previous track ‘Christian Syrups’, which attracted a stack of love from Australian media, ‘Sweaty Already’ is the second track lifted from their forthcoming second EP, due out 10th November.

“’Sweaty Already’ is the hottest, sweatiest song in our live set. The crowd loves it, because who can’t relate to being sweaty?” says vocalist Josh Williams. Regarding how the song came about, well, it’s quite simple. “I walked into Freda’s to watch The Ruminaters and I instantly started to sweat. I said to my friend next to me “I’m sweaty already” and he said “write a song””.

Don’t let their age throw you: garage rock trio Crocodylus are a compact tour de force. Effortlessly swinging from rough-around-the-edges indie anthems to crooning guitar ballads, high school friends. Stephen Sacco, Josh Williams and Mikel Salvador have bottled the laid back spirit of the Northern Beaches, sealed it with a sloppy kiss, and are currently trying to flog it off for VB money.

Quickly earning a reputation around Sydney for their rowdy live performances, Crocodylus‘ punchy garage-rock is coming to a town near you with a live show that will satiate your senses and justify another tall one for you and your mates. Think Hockey Dad meets Spiderbait, all having a mild night in with Palms – that’s Crocodylus for ya. Get yourself acquainted.

The three boys have been generating a lot of buzz in 2016/17. They landed Independent Artist of the Week on Sydney community radio station FBi Radio. Their tunes have seen airplay on Sydney stations 2RRR, FBi Radio, 2SER and Triple H FM, as well as Melbourne’s SYN, 4ZZZ in Brisbane. They’ve also received playlist love over at Triple J Unearthed for their song ‘Way Oh’ and ‘Your Smile’.

By far the most exciting aspect of the last year for Crocodylus has been the live shows. In recent months they have been the main support for NSW dates of The Pinheads vs. Drunk Mums tour in January, Los Scallywaggs east coast tour in April/May, and Los Tones‘ national tour in June. This is in addition to one-off shows with The Lemon Twigs, The Pinheads, Donny Benet and Hockey Dad throughout the year.

Almost entirely by word-of-mouth, Crocodylus have developed a reputation for their loud, boisterous performances, as well as the contrasting, complementary songwriting styles of vocalists Josh Williams and Stephen Sacco.
