They’re Back!

After its massive success in 2017, the Download Festival Paris returns for its third consecutive edition, on June 15, 16, 17, & 18, 2018, on the Bretigny-sur-Org air base in Le Plessis Pate in the Essone region, the ideal place for a gathering of this magnitude just outside of Paris.

They’re Coming!

This year the legendary rock, alternative and metal festival has an absolutely exceptional line up and  for the first time runs for four days.

Four monumental headliners will take the stage: Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Foo Fighters, and closing the event Guns N Roses for a three and a half hour concert!

Invasion of the Tarmac!

The Download Festival Paris is composed of 5 stages (one exclusively reserved for campers) that celebrate legends but also showcase all genres each day including dozens of establish or newly discovered bands from all over the world.

Besides the live performances some wonderful activities will punctuate the site: The Antechamber, with its tattoo artists and barbers, and The Metal Market located for the first time under a huge Marquee, as well as other surprises.

Everything has been thought of and redesigned this year regarding access to the site, the reception area and the comfort of festival-goers.

Camping! Movies! Drinks!

For safety reasons and to enhance your comfort, whether you come with a tent, caravan, or camping car, you must reserve your campsite. The reservation of the camping site is 5 Euros per festival-goer, a unique rate regardless of the length of your stay, whether its 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 nights.

More than a huge outdoor dormitory, its a place full of life where you will find: A live stage (The Firefly) where bands will storm starting Thursday June 14, and on where the festival is prolonged every night. A Movie Theatre that will take over where the concerts leave off and will be hosted by Panic! Cinema, who is preparing a secret alternative programming. A DJ with a sonic boom that will entertain campers who prefer to greet the breaking dawn outdoors rather than hiding in their sleeping bags. Also bars and catering areas will of course be available to festival-goers and every morning local market gardeners will sell fresh products.

Download Festival Paris will also launch the Download Project. In association with the County Council of Essonne and the regional venues (the Rack’Am, Le Plan, l’Empreinte), Download Festival Paris will support the local music scene with three bands through the discovery showcases prior to the festival*. This year, the lucky winners, Wakan Tanka, Teacup Monster and Wild Mighty Freaks, will have the honor to perform on the Main Stage 2 on June 15, 16 and 17!
