At just 21 years old, she’s on the verge of a promising music career. The newcomer, singer, and songwriter from Zurich is kicking off 2024 with a new release. Following songs like “Voices” (a house collaboration with producers ddp and Lii) with 2.7 million streams on Spotify and a feature with Benjamin Amaru, she embarks on a new chapter with the latest single “Lifetime Lover.”

Debuting on January 26, the new song not only marks the first track of her upcoming EP but, in her own words, signifies a musical reboot for her.
The single opens with the lyrics “I will keep you for a lifetime babe, I will keep you till the end of time,” setting the tone for a song that explores the complex facets of love. Based on the metaphor “Us against the world,” the song expresses the determination to preserve love forever, even at a cost.
In the first verse, “We’re black and blue, that’s me and you, too sensitive to live in a world this cruel,” Eileen paints a picture of vulnerability and a world often perceived as cold and merciless. With lines like “you’re mine until my body breaks,” Eileen also suggests that one can love too intensely. “It’s easier for me to write sad and dark lyrics. Nevertheless, I feel a lot of love and want to reflect that in my songs. That’s how I discovered writing love songs with a melancholic and darker twist for myself,” says Eileen.
With a catchy melody, profound lyrics, uplifting harmonies, and influences from both modern and traditional instruments, the new release reflects what we can expect from Eileen in the future. With “Lifetime Lover,” Eileen showcases her versatility as an artist and her ability to tell compelling stories through her music.
Eileen promises a lot of music for 2024. An exciting journey for the newcomer started on January 26 when the single was officially released. This debut song is expected to mark the beginning of an exciting musical journey for Eileen.
