Avid solo traveller, storyteller and award winning singer-songwriter, ELEEA is releasing new single ‘Red Wine’ from ‘The Travel Collection’ of songs – an anthology influenced by her independent backpacking trips to 35+ countries.
A long way from her rural Mullumbimby roots, ELEEA’s gutsy music, performances and stories will leave you feeling inspired to be fearless and chase adventure.

Conjuring wanderlust with her new Spanish inspired single from ‘The Travel Collection’, award-winning singer-songwriter, ELEEA, combines emotive storytelling and sassy pop with her new single, Red Wine, which came out last Friday, 28 May.
A third collaboration with ARIA chart-topping producer, Brad Hosking (Amy Shark) after their 2021 finalist nod at the Queensland Music Awards, Red Wine opens with fingerpicked electric guitar hooks under ELEEA’s rich vocals, before launching into a chorus propelled by danceable latin inspired beats.
“Red Wine was initially inspired by one of my guilty pleasures, The Notebook. That movie really sold the narrative that sees young, complicated love win,” said ELEEA.
“But in my experience, when reality kicked in, so did imposter syndrome and the realisation that we simply hadn’t grown into the right people at the right time. Even the romantic fantasies about all of the places we could go together weren’t enough to make it work.”
An avid solo traveler and freelance travel journalist, Red Wine is the third release from ‘The Travel Collection’ – an anthology of songs inspired by ELEEA’s backpacking and content creation trips to 35 countries.
“When I backpacked through Spain, it felt like a dream. Seeing the sunset at San Sebastian beach, passionate flamenco performances in Madrid or Gaudi’s incredible creations, it brought up all those old fantasies. But in the end, I lived them out solo, which was much more satisfying.”
With her fierce independence and deep honesty, Red Wine follows in the footsteps of ELEEA’s previous singles.
