Following the news of a 2020 return earlier this week,  the sizzling Hotter Than Hell line up has arrived in style, with 90s and 00s USA rock and punk royalty Everclear and Unwritten Law leading the announcement.

Hitting four locations across Australia in Gepps Cross (SA), Mt Evelyn (VIC), Townsville (QLD) and Dunsborough (WA) throughout February, festival organisers have locked in a spicy lineup at every location that’s sure to turn up the heat.

Everclear (USA) lead the announcement. Memories of triple j Hottest 100 hits like ‘Santa Monica’ and ‘Father of Mine’ are due to come burning back as Hotter Than Hell unleash their first ever international headliners. Previously laying low after a 14 year absence, Everclear last made an appearance down under celebrating their 20th anniversary tour in a string of hugely successful shows and return for the first time in three years to pump out their unique brand of singalong rock. Adding more fuel to the fire, multi-platinum punk outfit Unwritten Law (USA) heat things up across all four locations. The Southern Californian punk legends have endured with Aussie fans for their high energy live shows and distorted power riffs across favourites such as ‘Celebration Song’ to ‘Seein’ Red’ and ‘Save Me’.

A strong Australian contingent will make sure punters have ‘never had so much fun’ with Frenzal Rhomb jumping on all four dates, bringing their supreme on-stage banter and guitar wielding goods along with them. Beloved Brisbane fun machine The Grates warm things up. Known for their effervescent, colourful and infectious sets, they’re sure to raise the temp with party starters like ’19-20-20′, ‘Turn Me On’ and ‘Trampoline’. Australian punk royalty Cosmic Psycho’s are ‘Blokes You Can Trust’, who will be turning it up a notch in Mt Evelyn. With a 30 year plus year career, they are considered a legacy amongst the Aussie punk scene. Punters can expect the full psycho’s experience with their trademark fuzzed out guitar, repetitive lyrics and wah-wah bass sound. Replacing The Grates’ appearance in Dunsborough (WA) are Adelaide rockers, The Superjesus while the melodic pop rockers Motor Ace play Dunsborough Tavern, also joined by WA locals Axe Girl. Punk-ska band Area 7 join the fun for the Coopers Ale House and Kirwan Tavern shows, with local support in Gepps Cross from Young Offenders and Melbourne band Chasing Ghosts in Mt Evelyn.

Hotter Than Hell, aptly named to suit the festival tour, aims to bring the fire with their Hotter than ever line-up for 2020. For the punters wanting to travel back to when the amps seemed louder and the mosh seemed grimier there’s still time to register for the Hotter Than Hell presale HERE.
