brings the heat to Brisbane
with new shows added after
opening weekend success

One of the only events of its kind currently taking place in the world, Factory Summary Festival kicked off to huge success in Brisbane last weekend with thousands of excited attendees enjoying the return of live music festivals with acts including The Presets, Hermitude and Anna Lunoe.
Such was the success of the event, which expanded from Western Australia to activate the Brisbane Showgrounds from December 11 to 31, organisers have added additional shows to the lineup, which already boasts the likes of Peking Duk, Vera Blue, Example and What So Not.
KLP, Owl Eyes and Dena Amy will join Hayden James for a new show on December 23, which will sit alongside the latter’s Xmas Eve Show with Illy on December 24, whilst new shows will be headlined by Set Mo [DJ Set] on December 29 and Bag Raiders [DJ Set] on December 30.
Previously known as Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival and running to great acclaim in WA since 2017, the experiential arts and music event features a spectacular line-up of Australia’s top musical talent over three weeks set alongside interactive event experiences including themed bars and rides.
The event is one of the first in the country to bring the events industry back to life after a tumultuous 2020 and has gone to significant lengths to ensure the health and safety of all attendees.
Festival organisers and are in regular communication with relevant local and state authorities and a COVID-19 Safety Plan has been prepared and approved. Should any shows be unable to proceed, full refunds will be offered for all attendees.
