About ‘GEORGIA JONES’

Georgia Jones is an up and coming singer-songwriter and musician originally from Byron Bay, Australia, and currently based out of Brisbane, Australia. She discovered her passion for music very young, begging her parents for piano lessons at age four. She became a prolific writer in her teen years, after discovering a love for poetry and songwriting.

Inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Lorde, Queen, David Bowie, Bon Iver, and Billie Eilish. In her writing, she delves into a world of dark-pop; exploring themes of heartache, struggles with mental health, and coming-of-age, in a relatable and catchy, melodic nature. In her debut single ‘Ruins’, she writes about fears of getting older and slowing losing the novelty of youth, in a culture where it is so highly valued.

Being left with broken expectations after getting to a certain age, growing up, and realising that the world and your life isn’t quite like you had dreamed or hoped it would be.
