Grampians Music Festival (GMF) is pleased to announce its return in 2019 with the third annual festival taking place from Friday 15 – Sunday 17 February, with early bird tickets now on sale.
Set in the spectacular Victorian Grampians Mountain Ranges, the location is an inspiration for the GMF team and a stunning visual oasis for festivalgoers. The GMF team have worked closely with the surrounding community including local businesses, musicians and not-for-profit organisations, to continue to keep this event as authentic, relatable, and sustainable as it can be. Every year GMF work towards creating a safe and inclusive environment, fostering a culture of positive change in the Australian music industry. Inspired by the Your Choice initiative, the festival committee has put in place a safe space policy to enforce shared responsibility and encourage mutual respect between musicians, staff and music lovers alike. Grampians Music Festival not only ensures good vibes within the festival grounds but also encourages patrons to connect with the local community and discover all that the region has to offer.

Following the success of the 2018 program, Grampians Music Festival is thrilled to once again offer six lucky up-and-comers a hands-on festival experience as part of the Youth Mentorship Program. With mentorships offered in areas of event management, marketing and public relations, site design, festival decor, artist management and volunteer management, the festival committee is now encouraging young people from across the Northern Grampians Shire aged between 17 and 21 to apply. The mentorship program will commence on Tuesday 25 September right up until the last day of the festival in February 2019 and promises an invaluable hands-on experience of the day-to-day happenings of running a music festival.

Whilst the festival’s line up is still being kept tightly under wraps, Carly has ensured that preparations for 2019 are in full swing with artist bookings remaining a closely guarded secret until the official announcement on Wednesday 31 October:

Previous festival instalments have included highlights from some of the best home-grown Aussie talent including Polish Club, Felix Riebl, Tired Lion, Alex Lahey, Saatsuma, Didirri and more and the third bill is set to be no different. Teaming up with the lush Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park, GMF can provide festivalgoers with a three-night camping ticket for admission to their affordable and accessible camping just a 10-minute walk from the festival grounds, which also grants free access to the shuttle bus every day.
