Set to make their international debut at The Great Escape, Dot To Dot Festival and a London headline show this May, Haiku Hands has today launched their much-awaited new single Jupiter.  With their signature pairing of genre bending songs, synchronised dance moves and high energy production, Haiku Hands has developed a fierce live reputation with sets at Falls, St Jerome’s Laneway, The Plot, Wonderland Scarehouse Tour, BigSound, One Day, Sunday x Red Bull Academy, Pitch and Panama Festivals.

Erupting with buoyant beats and jam-packed with attitude, Jupiter is a collaboration with some of Australia’s finest writers and producers, including Joelistics, Jayteehazard and El Gusto (Hermitude).

Jupiter follows on from Not About You, the fearless debut single from an Australian collective playing by their own rules.  Amassing over one million streams, the single lured renowned American choreographer Brian Friedman (Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Rhianna, Usher and Prince).  The So You Think You Can Dance judge featured Not About You in his series of choreography videos which has notched up over 800,000 views.

Hailing from Melbourne and Sydney, the core of Haiku Hands is Claire Nakazawa, Mie Nakazawa and Beatrice Lewis. Together, they curate, perform and work as a collective of artists. They engage and explore social norms with their lyrical and visual content, with influences from hip hop, pop, electronic, dance and R&B.

In addition to the myriad of festival dates, the elusive crew sold-out their first headline show at the Lansdowne, were invited to curate All About Women at the Sydney Opera House and performed as special guests with Tank and The Bangas.   2018 will see their dance cards filled with a string of UK shows, festival sets at The Great Escape, Dot to Dot (Manchester Bristol, Nottingham), Splendour in the Grass, Groovin’ the Moo Canberra, Wide Open Spaces, Curve Ball, Perisher Peak Festival and more.
