The Harvest Rock II lineup just got even tastier! Secret Sounds is thrilled to announce seven new acts joining the lineup for two huge days of sound and taste in South Australia on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October 2023.

After announcing exclusive headliners Jamiroquai and Beck and international heavyweights like Nile Rodgers & Chic, Sparks and Santigold, Harvest Rock II is not finished just yet, adding a collection of solid Australian talent to the lineup, starting with one of Australia’s most exciting live performers; multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer, and ARIA Award winner Tash Sultana. Since breaking into the Australian music scene more than a decade ago, Tash has been nothing less than a musical force. From hit tracks like ‘Jungle’ and ‘Notion’, to their newly released SUGAR EP, Tash will bring a plethora of lush instrumentation to the stage on Sunday 29 October.

Rock royalty Bernard Fanning will join the bill on Saturday 28 October, performing his last Australian show of 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, as the former frontman of the ever iconic Powderfinger and a successful solo artist, Bernard Fanning has made an unfading mark on the music industry. Harvest Rockers will be treated to an exclusive performance, filled with swagger, great banter, and a display of pure musical talent across a wide-ranging set list of heartfelt classics.

Bask in the ‘Juice of the Sun’ while watching Australia’s favourite psych-pop group Babe Rainbow. The band will bring their ’70s psychedelia to Adelaide, boasting a live show that can only be described as a sensory feast of musical meditation.

English singer-songwriter Jade Bird will make her first trip to Australia to perform an exclusive show at Harvest Rock II. If you’ve seen Jade Bird live, you will know she pours every emotion into her music, whether it be charting singles ‘Lottery’ and ‘Uh-huh’ or the stirring break up sounds of ‘Houdini’, Jade is sure to have festival goers in their feels with every word.

Fresh off the back of a huge 22 date UK + European tour, Melbourne indie-rock sensations Floodlights will bring their emotionally charged live performance back down under. Described as one of Australia’s most unflinching truth-tellers, the band have gained global recognition for their signature evocative lyrics. Shortly after a successful, self-funded showcase at SXSW in Texas, the release of their latest album, Painting of My Time, saw the band perform some of their biggest Australian shows to date.

Coburg’s cinematic soul journeymen and prolific jazz-funk instrumentalists Surprise Chef will also make the trip to Adelaide in October. Their first two albums, All News Is Good News and 2020’s Daylight Savings lead to a cult-like fervour around the band, launching them into international music scenes and through the doors of Big Crown Records in Brooklyn. On stage, expect to be taken on a virtuosic journey of masterful synth explorations, percussive break-downs, atmospheric colour and deep grooves.

A rising star in Australia’s music scene, with a distinctive voice and a knack for crafting emotionally charged and relatable songs, Charlie Collins has rightfully captured hearts and ears alike. Her musical journey has seen ARIA nominations, an AIR Award for Best Country Album, collaborations and performances alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, sharing stages with the likes of Gang of Youths, Sam Fender, Orville Peck, and Conan Gray. You will see for yourself how Charlie’s profound connection with fans during live shows has cemented her status as an influential artist in the industry.
