THE DANDY WARHOLS
40th Anniversary Tour
Tour kicks off next month in Brisbane

Frontier Touring are pumped to confirm that the Hoodoo Gurus upcoming 40th Anniversary Tour with special guests The Dandy Warhols commences next month!
“This tour was first supposed to happen last year, in December 2021, then it was moved to April this year. That ol’ black magic called COVID broke our hearts both times, but we’ve picked ourselves up and dusted ourselves off and now we’re finally ready to tear it up on stage. We have to extend a huge thanks to The Dandy Warhols who’ve stayed the course with us despite all the postponements and cancellations. Together, we make a formidable team and we’re shouting, “Damn the torpedoes – full-steam ahead!” – Dave Faulkner

Kicking off at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Tuesday 13 September, the tour then proceeds to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday 15 September, down to Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne on Friday 16 September, then Hobart City Hall^ on Saturday 17 September, across to Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre on Tuesday 20 September and finally Belvoir Amphitheatre, Perth on Friday 23 September.
Playing ahead of The Dandy Warhols and opening proceedings in Brisbane and Sydney will be The Buoys, Even in Adelaide and Melbourne, Gnarhünd in Hobart and Rhinehearts in Perth.

Earlier this year, Hoodoo Gurus released their long-awaited first studio album in twelve years, Chariot of the Gods (via EMI Music Australia here) which debuted at #7 on the ARIA Album Chart and #2 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart, making it the band’s highest charting studio album in over 28 years!
2022 also marks the 40th anniversary of the band’s debut single ‘Leilani’ when the band were initially called Le Hoodoo Gurus. That humble independent single on Sydney’s feisty Phantom Records brought the band to the attention of the music industry and shortly afterwards Hoodoo Gurus were offered an album contract. A re-recorded version of ‘Leilani’ was later released for the band’s 1984 debut album ‘Stoneage Romeos’ – and the rest is history!
Don’t miss Australia’s iconic rock outfit Hoodoo Gurus and US indie-rock darlings The Dandy Warhols this September. Tickets via: frontiertouring.com/hoodoogurus

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
