“We all go a little mad sometimes” – Norman Bates.
In ode to one of the most influential cinematic releases ever to grace the silver screen, Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’, overlords of Slashercore, Ice Nine Kills, have released the gruesome, cinematic music video accompaniment to their song, The Shower Scene.

.
Speaking on their new release, Ice Nine Kills frontman and creative visionary, Spencer Charnas shares: “While paying tribute to perhaps the most influential horror film of all time, Alfred Hitchcock’s, Psycho, we simultaneously continue the INK Horrorwood Saga we began exactly a year ago to the day. Will this be the end? Or is the next chapter just right around the cororner…”
The video For The Shower Scene stars Ice Nine Kills Scream Queen, Nadia Teichmann and Victoria Potter Worsnop along side beloved horror movie figures Joe Bob Briggs (Martin Scorcesse’s Casino, The Last Drive In on Shudder), Scout Taylor- Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween 1 & 2), Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Devil’s Rejects,) and Ricky Dean Logan (Freddy’s Dead, Back To The Future series).
The Shower Scene is featured on Ice Nine Kills phenomenally successful album, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. Released in October 2021, the album scored Ice Nine Kills their first Top 20 position (#18) on the Billboard Top 200, topped the Digital and Current Hard Music charts, hit Top 5 on the Current Rock, Independent, Current Albums, and Album Sales charts and has clocked up 100 million cross-platform streams to date and 12.5 million YouTube views for singles Hip To Be Scared, Assault & Batteries, Rainy Day, Funeral Derangements and Take Your Pick.
As is now tradition in the Ice Nine Kills universe, the band have also released a KILLER, limited edition ‘Psycho’ themed Nightmare On The Ninth merch capsule. Fans can purchase HERE whilst stocks last.
The inaugural Silver Scream Con horror convention, curated by Spencer Charnas is set to take place 19 – 21 August in the band’s home state of Massachusetts in North America. Fans will gather for a packed weekend of exclusive photo ops, celebrity signings and discussion panels from genre icons such as Doug Bradley (Pinhead from the Hellraiser franchise), Kane Hodder (Jason from Friday the 13th 7-10 – Hatchet), Skeet Ulrich (Scream, The Craft, Riverdale), Nick Castle (Original Michael Myers from John Carptenter’s Halloween), James Jude Courtney (Michael Myers from Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4 + 5 – Hatchet – Rob Zombie’s’ Halloween 1 + 2), Spencer Charnas, Twiztid and many more. About ICE NINE KILLS:
Decadent, devious, and fiercely insane, Ice Nine Kills celebrate pop culture’s darkest edges, mining a cinephile library’s worth of iconic horror on 2018’s The Silver Scream which spawned Top 10 Mainstream Rock single A Grave Mistake and Top 20 hit Savages. The creative marriage made in hell of music and fiction began in earnest with the Top 5 Hard Rock album, Every Trick in the Book, which brought the previous three records’ themes to new levels and which the band have completely perfected on their most recent full-length ’The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood.’
The band’s synergy of music and lifestyle draws favorable comparisons to Slipknot and Rob Zombie. Visionary trailblazers and multimedia raconteurs, INK built a thrilling world for a growing legion of devoted true believers, with theatrical shows, high- concept videos, and inventive band-to-fan communion. Their wildly creative output has seen them become recent recipients of the prestigious Clio Award for Music Marketing for their Merry Axe-mas mobile game and their live streaming event from October 2020, The Silver Stream be nominated for 5 awards at this year’s Horror Hound Film Festival Awards in the categories of Judges Choice, Best Sound, Best Supporting Performance, Best Cinematography and Best Feature. With over 1.65 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 717 million career streams to date and over 177.6 million views on YouTube the band are firmly cemented as one of modern metal’s most vicious forces.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
