Australian artist JXN has launched his new single Going Off featuring Bronx rapper, A$AP Twelvyy, who most recently toured Australia for Groovin the Moo. The track was premiered on triple j’s Good Nights.

Of the track, JXN says

I wrote “Going Off” with Styalz Fuego (coolest producer name ever) haha. The all round meaning of the song is about “going off the rails” and having that person who pulls you back in line but sometimes you wanna get a little loose and have a party or 12 and not worry about consequences

.

After making an impressive debut last year with the launch of his first single Solitude, JXN followed up with the release of Red Lights, a collaboration with another US rapper, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie in March this year, with the tracks accumulating over 5.3 million worldwide streams.

It’s a special kind of artist that has a handle on their own sound so early in their career, but JXN is a rare breed—a songwriter that truly creates, instead of emulating or imitating.

Catch JXN at his first live shows in August, as he supports ALLDAY, Mallrat and E^ST at venues around the country.
