We’re barely three months into 2019, and Kwame has sold out his biggest headline tour yet ahead of three debut USA shows at SXSW. ‘Allocation exhausted’ is becoming a familiar sight on Kwame ticketing pages with all nine performances on his ‘CLOUDS.’ single tour reaching capacity. The final two shows take place in Newcastle this weekend.

Recently announced on additional SXSW showcases, the triple j Unearthed Artist of the Year is well on track to ‘WOW’ the USA later this month before heading back home for a national run with pals Peking Duk. At SXSWKwame will headline the Sounds Australia BIGSOUND Brunch and appear at the Future Classic showcase before hitting up his official showcase at The Main II.

Punchy party-starter ‘CLOUDS.’ has risen to new heights following its premiere on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe in November. Recently surpassing 2 million streams it’s been the catalyst for positive pandemonium among crowds at Kwame’s sold out shows this past month.

The sold out CLOUDS. tour follows a huge year for the Western Sydney producer, writer and rapper – his singles ‘WOW’ and ‘NO TIME’ from his Endless Conversations. EP have now clocked over 5 million streams between them, both receiving triple j rotation. Kwame also took out the coveted triple j Unearthed Artist Of The Year, triple j’s Splendour in the Grass competition, jumped on stage at triple j’s One Night Stand and played three knock-out showcases at BIGSOUND. He backed this up with a host of summer festivals including The Grass is Greener, SPILT MILK, Festival of the Sun, Party in the Paddock, The Hills are Alive, Mountain Sounds and Groovin the MooKwame also boasts a huge CV of supports for heavyweightsSkepta, Migos, 6LACK and AJ Tracey.

As Kwame says in ‘CLOUDS.’, he “can never stop” and he’s staying true to his word. Back on Australian soil, Kwame is set to play The Hills Are Alive! festival at the end of March and supporting Peking Duk on their huge 15-date national tour into April and May. There’s no stopping this ‘diamond in the rough’. He’s clearly cutting through and cutting shapes while he does it.
