Featuring the smooth vocals of soul-tronic duo, Boo Seeka , Sydney’s L D R U has returned with a new single titled ‘Ruler’. The single comes along with the announcement of a special one-off performance with Boo Seeka at THIS THAT, and an exclusive invite-only Mansion Party in Sydney this August. Lead single ‘Ruler’ is bundled with a second track titled ‘I Can Feel It’ which is featured on the latest Under Armour x Sydney Football Club campaign and is available on streaming platforms today. 

‘Ruler’ follows the 2019 collab with Muki titled ‘Lay You Down‘ and was born out of a casual writing session with  Boo Seeka for their upcoming live show. “The track started like a Cinderella love story, We went into the studio to work on stuff for the live show, then bam!  Hooks from Boo, drops from L D R U and everything else in between. We’re all really proud of this one” L D R U and Boo Seeka explain.

L D R U caught the attention of artists including Skrillex, A-Track, Diplo and What So Not in 2017 with his hugely successful SIZZLAR mixtape and hit single ‘Keeping Score’. Featuring Paige IV, ‘Keeping Score’ has been certified double platinum in Australia and hit the Top 15 on the ARIA chart. It came in at #22 on the triple j Hottest 100 2016, has been streamed over 18 million times since release and helped L D R U secure three nominations at the 2016 ARIA Awards (Apple Music Song Of The Year, Breakthrough Artist and Best Dance Release). Gold accredited ‘Next To You’ as well as ‘To Be Free’ were both triple j favourites and combined with ‘Keeping Score’ has accumulated a huge 30 million streams for L D R U.

The SIZZLAR mixtape was followed by sold-out tours and performances at the likes of Field Day, Listen Out, Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass, as well as Electric Forest, HARD, and Splash House in the USA. L D R U has supported the likes of The Chainsmokers locally for their stadium tour as well as NGHTMRE & Slander GUD Vibrations North American tour.
