Emerging singer/songwriter L E X has today announced her arrival on the pop scene with the release of her debut single “C’EST LA VIE.” The new single, which features brooding dark-pop melodies and a powerful chorus with links to her Serbian background, establishes L E X as one of the most exciting new faces in the industry.
Infused with personal reflections and broader notions of the emotional turmoil that comes with growing up and finding one’s place in the world, L E X describes the voice she so beautifully champions in the single.

“At its very core, ‘C’EST LA VIE’ captures a feeling of angst from a girl who has grown up forced to suppress her emotions and afflictions,” said L E X.
“As an artist, my work is a reflection of my own experiences. I tell stories about the path I have been on, so that others can feel empowered and relate to those experiences or feelings.”
With notable influences stemming from Billie Eilish, Julia Michaels and CharlotteLawrence, L E X’s pensive, dark-pop sound voices a fragile vulnerability that can be heard through her deeply personal, heartfelt lyrics.
Born into a family from war-torn Serbia, residing on Australia’s East Coast, L E X was not born into music, however at a young age she discovered its empowering abilities as a means to escape her reality.
L E X has already previously worked alongside top producers/songwriters in Australia and the United States, including Xavier Dunn (GRAACE, Jack River, CXLOE), Mike Daley (Lady Gaga), Cyrus Villaneuva and Kota Banks. She now splits her time between Sydney and the Gold Coast.
“C’EST LA VIE” is available to stream on all platforms now.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
