B.SOCIAL FESTIVAL
makes Summer debut
in Far North Queensland
.

Well if you thought the sleepy period between Christmas and New Years was going to be full of dull anticipation and figuring out if a tv by the blow-up pool is a viable option…think again. This year, co-director of the famed River Sessions and North Queensland enthusiast Michael Delaney and his team at Tropical Ent brings us their newest offering in b.social. The highly anticipated debut and first of its kind festival focused on coming together and being in the moment with some of Australia’s best acts.
For its inception, b.social will be calling Mackay showgrounds home on the 29th of December, that perfect sweet spot to get you from Christmas ham to ambitious New Years Eve resolutions. Replicating regional favourite event River Sessions, b.social aims to bring together a widespread North Queensland community to share in great food, drinks and music, leaving punters fully satisfied.
To put a twist in the tale, b.social wants to highlight the message of keeping our phones down and enjoying the festivities for the energy they bring. There have been some turbulent times in the country of late and we have had to rely on becoming an online society to socialise and often feeling down and out about it. b.social wants to play its part in re-connecting punters, family and friends while also taking proactive steps to move on. b.social will be donating $1 for every ticket sold to a mental health charity which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

And the lineup you say!? Well yes, this one is all-star.
Super-mega, globally recognised artist Masked Wolf will be fresh off his collaboration with Tom Walker to grace Mackay showgrounds and headline the event. With his universal hit ‘Astronaut in The Ocean’ being about his own mental health problems, Masked Wolf instantly put his hand up as the perfect headliner.
Qld superstars The Jungle Giants will be bringing you some summer energy, dropping the instruments and pounding the decks with a DJ set that will blow your mind. Sneaky Sound System ages like fine wine and will be smashing bangers after Triple J royalty Choomba & Latifa Tee drop some heat. Tigerlily, Taleena, Jordan Burns & Silky Fuzz are also swinging hips with their anthemic hits to round out a superstar lineup with more acts TBA.

Founder Michael Delaney comments: “b.social is about the push of social interaction which is something that the whole world has suffered from – something humans are not meant to endure. Even though North Queensland is considered low risk we are working with key stakeholders to ensure that we greatly minimise the risk of covid 19 whilst putting on a stella event for people to get out and enjoy live music with friends “
On the back of the hugely successful River Sessions delivered by Adrian Young and Michael Delaney, b.social aims to take out QLD’s largest non-touring single-day music festival in the years to come, showcasing a multitude of Australia’s leading live dance, hip hop and rock/indie acts taking the stage. For its debut innings, b.social is kicking goals straight off the bat, get yourself a ticket, put down the phone and give your mates a hug. We got the rest.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
