Internationally successful blues guitarist, Dave Hole brings his critically acclaimed electric live show to The Bridge Hotel, for one show only, on Friday May 4th, where he will debut his new album ‘Goin’ Back Down’!
In 1999 Dave’s album “Under The Spell” won the prestigious ‘Best Blues & Roots Album’ at the Australian ARIA Awards. Now, his new album,
‘Goin’ Back Down’ will be released on May 1, 2018.
Dave is an Australian Blues Rock slide guitarist who burst onto the international scene in 1991 with his first album, “Short Fuse Blues”, which was picked up by America’s most prestigious blues label, the Chicago based Alligator Records. He has since released a further eight albums; all of which have earned critical raves from such publications as ‘Billboard’, ‘Guitar Player’, ‘Guitar World’, ‘The Washington Post’, ‘Chicago Tribune’ and ‘Esquire’ magazine.
After innumerable world tours Dave’s explosive live show has earned him accolades from around the globe. He has headlined festivals in America, Germany, Denmark, Holland, France, Switzerland, Norway, Brazil, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Canada, Poland and The Czech Republic. Dave Holes’ worldwide fan base regards him as one of the all time slide guitar greats.
Dave returns to The Bridge in on May 4, after a long hiatus, last playing there in 2015 as part of his stripped down acoustic tour, this time he will be electric – don’t miss it!
