MUTO’S highly anticipated debut EP Arcane is out today and comes ahead of his first time performing at Splendour in the Grass and a national EP tour which sees the producer hitting the road to deliver his new work to the masses in every capital city around the country, with multiple shows on the verge of selling out.

Arcane lands as an intricate and atmospheric debut from the Sydney musician. Moving from storming instrumental pieces to stunning vocal performances to synth-driven hip hop to masterfully crafted grooves, the EP features stand out appearances from Sweden’s Novaa, Melbourne’s HVNCOQ and the talented Emerson Leif. Arcane is a brave and unflinching exploration into programmed sound and a true testament to MUTO’s ability in songwriting.

Coinciding with the release of Arcane, MUTO has released the stunning new video for his current single ‘Tessellating’ ft. Oliver Dibley. Featuring the direction of Melbourne award-winning duo Lucas Schrank and George Thomson from Visitor Studio who previously directed MUTO’s ‘Wildfire’ ft. Deutsch Duke, the video is other wordly and cinematic in breadth with visceral performances. ‘Tessellating’ ft. Oliver Dibley hit the top spot on Hype Machine and has received radio support both locally and overseas as well as being streamed over 500k times.

Last year saw MUTO conquer a mammoth 26-date tour across Australia and be handpicked by ODESZA as main support on their European album tour. He has previously played must-see sets on the triple j unearthed stage at BIGSOUND, This That Festival, and Listen Out festivals.

MUTO has accumulated over 11 million streams on Soundcloud and 7 million across all singles on Spotify, and became 2017’s #2 most played artist on triple j unearthed. He has landed high rotation on triple j and widespread community radio support.
