Singles Chartifacts: 

#1: SAINt JHN ‘Roses’ – For a fifth week, ‘Roses’ by American hip hop artist SAINt Jhn takes out the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart.

#4: Megan Thee Stallion ‘Savage’ – In its sixth week in the Top 50, Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’ jumps up 16 spots to crack the Top Ten at #4. Its surge comes on the back of a remix of the track featuring Beyoncé. All proceeds from the new version benefit Bread of Life Houston’s COVID-19 relief efforts; the hometown of both artists.

#9: DaBaby Feat. Roddy Ricch ‘Rockstar’ – DaBaby’s ‘Rockstar’ climbs five spots to #9. It becomes the American rapper’s first ARIA Charts Top Ten hit.

#16: Marshmello, Halsey ‘Be Kind’ – Marshmello and Halsey team up for the new single ‘Be Kind’. It’s the American producer’s first appearance in the ARIA Top 50 since ‘One Thing Right’ (#4 Sept. ’19) and his eighth entry overall. For Halsey, it’s her second chart entry for the year after ‘You Should Be Sad’ (#4 Mar. ’20).

Albums Chartifacts:

#1: Drake ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ – Drake scores his third #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with the mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes. The Canadian rapper’s first chart entry since Care Package (#7 Aug. ’19) features the single ‘Toosie Slide’ (#3 Apr. ’20), as well as appearances by Future, Young Thug, Playboy Carti and more. Drake has previously hit #1 with Views (#1 May ’16) and Scorpion (#1 Jul. ’18). It’s also his eighth album to appear in the Top Ten.

#38: Elevation Worship ‘Graves Into Gardens (Live)’ – American worship music group Elevation Worship make their third appearance in the Top 50 with Graves Into Gardens (Live). It’s their first release to chart locally since There Is A Cloud (#33 Mar. ’17). Elevation Worship’s first chart entry was with Here As In Heaven (#27 Feb. ’16).

#45: Killswitch Engage ‘Atonement II B-Sides For Charity’ – American metalcore band Killswitch Engage raise money for the COVID-19 fight with Atonement II B-Sides For Charity. The six tracks on the release were left off their last studio album, Atonement (#4 Aug. ’19). It becomes Killswitch Engage’s seventh album to chart in the ARIA Top 50.

#49: Wil Wagner ‘I Hope I Don’t Come Across Intense’ – Smith Street Band front man Wil Wagner digitally releases the demo collection I Hope I Don’t Come Across Intense. Featuring demos recorded between 2009 and 2015, the album was first released in a limited run of 100 in 2015. The Smith Street Band hit #1 two weeks ago with the album Don’t Waste Your Anger (#1 Apr. ’20) and charted in March with Live At The Triffid (#4 Mar. ’20).
