Singles Chartifacts: 

#1: Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo ‘Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)’ – ‘Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)’ by New Zealand producer Jawsh 685 and American R&B star Jason Derulo holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a third straight week. To date, the track has also topped the charts in the UK, New Zealand, Sweden, Austria, Norway and more.

#6: Juice WRLD & Marshmello ‘Come & Go’ – With Legends Never Diedebuting at #3 on this week’s Albums Chart, Juice WRLD scores nine tracks as lead artist on the Singles Chart, including two in the Top Ten. The highest debut is ‘Come & Go’, one of two collaborations on the album with American DJ/producer Marshmello. Other Juice WRLD tracks to debut in the Top 50 include: ‘Life’s A Mess’ (#8), ‘Wishing Well’ (#14), ‘Hate The Other Side’ (#15), ‘Conversations’ (#19), ‘Titanic’ (#40), ‘Bad Energy’ (#42) and ‘Blood On My Jeans’ (#45). ‘Righteous’ (#15 May ‘20) has re-entered at #25.

#10: Guy Sebastian ‘Standing With You’ – Jumping up 25 spots in its third week in the chart, ‘Standing With You’ becomes Guy Sebastian’s 14th Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. It comes a year on from ‘Choir’ (#7 Jul. ’19), which spent four weeks in the Top Ten and won the 2019 ARIA Award for Song Of The Year.. Sebastian performed ‘Standing With You’ this week on The Voice.

#38: Amy Shark ‘Everybody Rise’ – In its second week in the Top 50, Amy Shark’s ‘Everybody Rise’ climbs eleven spots to hit a new peak at #38. The ARIA-winning singer-songwriter appeared on The Voice this week and performed the song.

Albums Chartifacts:

#1: Lime Cordiale ‘14 Steps To A Better You’ – Lime Cordiale score their first #1 album on the ARIA Charts with 14 Steps To A Better You. It’s the second studio album from the Sydney duo consisting of brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach and comes three years on from their debut, Permanent Vacation(#79 Oct. ’17). Three of the album’s tracks featured in the 2019 Triple J Hottest 100: ‘Robbery’ (#7), ‘Inappropriate Behavior’ (#13) and ‘Money’ (#32).

14 Steps To A Better You is the tenth Australian #1 album on the ARIA Charts in 2020.

#2: DMA’S ‘The Glow’ – Sydney’s DMA’S score a new chart peak as they release third album The Glow. The follow-up to For Now (#7 May ’18) was originally set to be released in April but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s the trio’s third consecutive Top Ten on the Albums Chart, having first cracked it with debut album Hills End (#8 Mar. ’16). The track ‘Silver’ was #20 in the Triple J Hottest 100 announced in January. The Glow tops this week’s ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.

#3: Juice WRLD ‘Legends Never Die’ – The late American rapper Juice WRLD scores his second Albums Chart Top Ten with Legends Never Die. Juice WRLD’s first posthumous release comes after he died in December 2019 and features contributions by Trippie Redd, The Kid Laroi, Marshmello and Halsey, among others. Juice WRLD previously charted with Death Race For Love (#8 Mar. ’19) and Goodbye & Good Riddance (#39 Dec. ’19).

#17: Make Them Suffer ‘How To Survive A Funeral’ – Perth metalcore band Make Them Suffer re-enter the Albums Chart Top 50 with fourth album How To Survive A Funeral. The follow-up to Worlds Apart (#29 Aug. ’17) was released digitally at the end of June, debuting at #48. Its new peak comes on the back of the release of CD and vinyl versions.

#28: The Midnight ‘Monsters’ – American duo The Midnight make their Top 50 debut with Monsters. It’s the third album from the synthwave duo consisting of Tim Daniel McEwan and Jamison Tyler Lyle, following 2016’s Endless Summer and 2018’s Kids.
