Singles Chartifacts: 

#1: Drake ‘In My Feelings’ – For a fourth consecutive week, Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’ is #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The Canadian rapper has been #1 on the chart for 17 weeks in 2018.

#2: Dean Lewis ‘Be Alright’ – Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’ holds #2 on the Singles Chart for a second straight week. The single has spent five weeks in the Top Ten.

#7: Travis Scott & Drake ‘Sicko Mode’ (Debut) – As well as debuting at #1 on the Albums Chart with Astroworld, American rapper Travis Scott takes out the highest debut on this week’s Singles Chart.  ‘Sicko Mode’ features additional vocals from Drake, who is also one of the track’s co-writers. It’s one of three songs from the album to hit this week’s Top 50, with Scott also debuting with ‘Stargazing’ (#10) and ‘Butterfly Effect’ (#46). 

#8: Conrad Sewell ‘Healing Hands’ – After dropping back to #10 last week, Conrad Sewell’s ‘Healing Hands’ jumps back to #8, one spot below its previous peak. It’s the track’s third week in the Top Ten.

#9: Jonas Blue ‘Rise’ – Moving up two spots, Jonas Blue hits #9 with ‘Rise’. The track becomes the English DJ/producer’s fourth Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. He scored his first Top Ten with ‘Fast Car’ (#1 Feb. ’16).

#1: Travis Scott ‘Astroworld’ (Debut) – American rapper Travis Scott picks up his first #1 on the ARIA Charts with Astroworld. Scott’s third studio album – the follow-up to Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight (#10 Sept. ’16) – includes collaborations with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean, Drake, James Blake and more. Three of the album’s tracks, ‘Sicko Mode’, ‘Stargazing’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’ have debuted on this week’s Singles Chart, hitting #7, #10 and #46, respectively.

#8: Trophy Eyes ‘The American Dream’ (Debut) – Newcastle’s Trophy Eyes equal their peak on the Albums Chart with The American Dream. The punk band’s third studio album joins previous release Chemical Miracle (#8 Oct. ’16) as their highest-charting release. Trophy Eyes will be touring nationally in support of the album.

#15: YG ‘Stay Dangerous’ (Debut) – YG scores a second entry in the Albums Chart with Stay Dangerous. The album is the California rapper’s third studio release and comes two years on from Still Brazy (#24 Jun. ’16). Stay Dangerousfeatures appearances by A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Nicki Minaj and more.

#16: Diesel ‘30: The Greatest Hits’ (Debut) – Diesel celebrates three decades of music with 30: The Greatest Hits. The compilation brings together tracks from throughout the ARIA-winning singer-songwriter’s career, including the hits ‘Don’t Need Love’ (#10 Dec. ’88), ‘Soul Revival’ (#9 Mar. ’89), ‘Cry In Shame’ (#10 May ’89), ‘Come To Me’ (#8 Jan. ’92), ‘Tip Of My Tongue’ (#4 Mar. ’92) and ‘Never Miss Your Water’ (#12 Aug. ’93). Diesel last appeared on the chart with the album Americana (#15 Jul. ’16).

#21: Mac Miller ‘Swimming’ (Debut) – With Swimming, his fifth studio album, rapper Mac Miller takes out a third Top 50 entry. It comes two years on from The Divine Feminine (#13 Sept. ’16) and features contributions from Pharrell Williams, J Cole, Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, John Mayer, Thundercat and more.
