5-piece band Parcels released their self-titled debut album to critical acclaim in 2018. The band just announced their anticipated forthcoming second studio album, “Day/Night,” to be released on November 5th, 2021 via Because Music. The ambitious project is made up of two self-contained albums, Day and Night, presenting 19 tracks in total, including the singles ‘Free,’ ‘Comingback’ and ‘Somethinggreater.’ The record is vast and cinematic in sound and layered lyrical themes, channeling western folk and classic pop, resulting in a new sound the band describes as “Cowboy Disco.” The record was recorded at the legendary La Frette Studios in Paris. The episode of Live From My Den was also filmed at La Frette, with the band giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process and the making of the album.
