With their upcoming Australian tour rapidly approaching and dance music fans across the globe positively vibrating to their latest album Changa, beloved electro dance trio PNAU have hand-picked some amazing local talent to join them as guests at their shows across the country in July. At shows in Fremantle, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth PNAU will be joined by KUREN and CLYPSO, two amazing Australian acts currently burning white hot on the local musical horizon and both destined for massive things.

KUREN is the alter ego of Curtis Kennedy, a 20 year old indigenous producer residing in Sydney, whose heritage is with the Wiradjuri people. After turning heads and ultimately winning triple j’s Unearthed NIMAs Competition showcasing indigenous talent in 2016, KUREN is currently dominating the nation’s airwaves with his latest single ‘Never Enough’ which is the first tantalizing taste of his debut long player Melting Conceptually due for release at the end of June. If this current track is any indication, KUREN is due for one of the most we’ll received local releases for 2018.

CLYPSO is a Sydney based producer and vocalist, whose sound is a collage of hyperactive beats, grimey basslines and Afropunk infused electronica. Influenced by afrobeat and Atari-esque synths, CLYPSO blends and blurs tongue-in-cheek samples with urban laments over jungle beats and shiny synth riffs. It’s happy-pill music with bite. CLYPSO has already garnered a slew of notable nods and achievements in the past year including reaching the Top 10 on the Australian Viral 50 Spotify playlist, Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Week, and FBi’s Independent Artist of the Week.

Currently storming the globe with their psychedelic dance hit album Changa, PNAU have steadily become Australia’s most celebrated electronic musical exports. Featuring prominently on global airwaves and dance charts with the smash singles “Chameleon”, “Go Bang”, and their most recent “Changa”, the trio have the world ablaze with their distinct mind-expanding blend of hook laden, EDM magik. With Melbourne and Splendour already sold out, and some world class guests in tow, Australian fans should act quick for a rare chance to catch the now LA based trio as they offer the intoxicating aural sacrament of Changa across Australia.
