2017 ARIA-winners PNAU celebrated their triumph in pure PNAU-style last night, ditching traditional ARIA after party celebrations to host a party of their own with label etcetc at Sydney’s beloved, Club 77.

Ahead of their opening performance at the 2017 ARIA Awards, PNAU announced via social media that they’d booked the iconic Sydney venue to party with fans after the award ceremony. Shortly after the announcement, a line began to take shape outside the small and notoriously sweaty 180-cap club. Arriving just before midnight, the band took to the decks, DJing for fans who had the venue at full capacity from 10pm, leaving most of the music industry (who’d just finished at the ARIA Awards), left out. The band dropped a very special remix of Go Bang from Adelaide’s Flash 89, right before Flash 89 hit the decks himself at PNAU’s one-of-a-kind ARIA after party.

Carrying onto the early hours of the morning, the party not only celebrated PNAU’s much-deserved ARIA win for Best Dance Release with “Chameleon, but a year that’s been nothing short of specular; their loyal fans welcoming back the trio with open arms as they released their fifth studio album, Changa. Receiving unanimous worldwide acclaim, Changa is an ode to the act’s shape-shifting versatility, honouring the dance floor glory and rave euphoria from which they were born, while boasting new characteristics, rich in blissful vocals and contagious melodies.

18 years on from their inception, PNAU maintain their reputation as one of “Australia’s Best Festival Acts” (InTheMix) – a testament to their timeless music and prolific nature. The group will soon bring their fierce and infectious live show to the Aussie festival circuit, playing Beyond the ValleySydney’s Harbour Party this New Year’s Eve and more. Audiences from across the globe can win a chance to see PNAU live on NYE by creating a Spotify playlist of handpicked PNAU tracks they’d most like to hear in their Harbour Party set, as part of their Go Bang With PNAU competition. The winner will receive 2 x VIP Harbour Party tickets, flights and accommodation to experience NYE on Sydney Harbour with PNAU.
