Point Blank Group present A Carry 4 Coins; a benefit concert taking place at Max Watts, Naarm (Melbourne), on Wednesday, February 26. Supported by some of the most exciting and celebrated voices including Sampa the Great, Kaiit, Ecca Vandal and Kira Puru among others, who will all be donating their time to the cause.

A Carry 4 Coins will donate 100% of profits to a number of organisations and communities including Firesticks Alliance, Fire Relief Fund for Fire Nations Communities and Mogo Aboriginal Land Council.

Leading the stacked lineup is Zambian-born, Botswana-raised and now Melbourne-based artist, Sampa The Great. The award-winner has stepped out of a mega 2019, having released her acclaimed debut album The Return and recently won Best Hip Hop release with “Final Form” at the ARIA Awards. The second ARIA winner to be added to the bushfire relief bill is Melbourne’s soul songstress Kaiit, with her honeyed vocals and fierce rhymes.

Singer-songwriter Ecca Vandal will take to the stage to perform a string of genre-defying hits like “Future Heroin”, as well as the always charismatic Kira Puru, delivering on her dynamic and versatile sets following appearances on some of the country’s largest stages. Hip-hop favourite Jesswar will continue to elevate the crowd and captivate the room with her raw and fierce lyrics, following sets from the unapologetic Miss Blanks, DJ BabyMama, Soju Gang and C.Frim. Stay tuned for further lineup announcements via Point Blank Group’s Facebook page.

As Australia falls victim to one of the largest climate catastrophes, the devastation of the bushfires has led to over 10.7 million hectares of land burnt, the death of over 1 billion animals and countless families and communities having to flee from their native homes. A Carry 4 Coins, is a continuation of the industry’s ongoing support for the fire relief fund of First Nations communities, bringing with it some of the biggest names in the Australian music scene.

A Carry 4 Coins will take place at Max Watts on February 26. Tickets will be available to purchase via Oztix. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander punters, please contact [email protected] to arrange free entry.
