Following their recent debut album release ‘What Comes Next’, featuring “History” and “Get To Know” feat. Winston Surfshirt, the extremely talented twin, electronic producers, Cosmo’s Midnight kicked off the first sold out show of their national tour on Friday the 6thof July in Sydney at The Metro Theatre. From the staging and captivating visuals, to the surprise special guest performers, the show was one that was not to be missed.

To open the evening, as guests were entering the venue at 8.30pm, was Mookhi. She entertained and impressed the audience with her music and exhilarating trumpet playing. The final support act took the stage at 9.30pm. Genesis Owusu moved around the entire stage hyping up the audience and ensuring the entire crowd was ready for Cosmo’s Midnight to take the stage at 10.30pm.
With not one person seated in the Metro, Cosmo’s Midnight entered the stage accompanied with the roaring cheers of excitement from the crowd. The insane galactic visuals on the backdrop captivated the audience transporting them into another world, the world we know as ‘Cosmo’s Midnight’.

Following the release of their debut album ‘What Comes Next’, fans eagerly awaited to hear songs from the album live. Unexpectedly, Winston Surfshirt was introduced to the stage as a special guest to perform “Get To Know” with Cosmo’s Midnight, sending the audience into an excited craze as Winston made his way around the stage engaging with the audience. During the song “Dreamer”, looking over the ocean of people, everyone was completely mesmerized and letting their bodies move to the beat.

Asta was another special guest who appeared numerous times throughout the show to perform the vocals in “Talk To Me” and the final song of the evening, “History” which the crowd completely let loose in.
The sold out show was an absolute success. Experiencing the new music live was an incredible moment for Cosmo and Pat, as well as their fans to witness. The standard Cosmo’s Midnight performed at was extremely high and the night was filled with incredible visuals and special guest appearances leaving the audience stunned and eager for their next instalment.
