Have you always wanted to be an artist? When did you get the songwriting bug?
I’ve always sang and played piano since I was a little girl and I definitely always aspired to be a musician. I didn’t start writing my own songs until the age of 12/13, that was the moment that I realized I could create my own work as opposed to reading music.

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think fans resonate with your music?
When I was 14 I joined a band of older guys who were playing music from their era, it allowed me to listen to music from the 60s and the 70s in particular bands like Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. I think this is where I developed a love for vocal harmony and using the voice as an instrument. I guess people resonate with my music because of the sincerity of the way I sing and portray the song but also because of the lyrical content. A lot of it talks of matters in life that everyone can relate to.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
All live vocal performances by Stevie Wonder! The lyrics of Joni Mitchell. The stage presence of Bruce Springsteen.

Your latest single ‘ Revolution Anthem (Festival of the Oppressed)’ has just been released! Describe its origin and evolution.
It’s a song of the times. It’s a reflection of the oppression and injustices across the world, referencing many geo-political issues and leaders. It’s a song that I want people to be able to sing and feel a sense of release from.

Is there an EP or ALBUM on the drawing board?
Yes! It’s called warpaint. It’s a collection of songs that reflect any form of oppression, whether it be emotional or societal.

What tours and events are coming up? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I’ll be touring in Australia in November! Playing Airlie Beach Festival. It’s been 7 years since my last visit!

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why?
I think honestly it would be Stevie Wonder.

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
I’d really like to work in film, I’d love to orchestrate pieces for movies. That’s where I’d like to concentrate on next.

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
NFTS!!! please look at nfts. I just started selling limited copies of 100 at 100 dollars each and time I sell them out. Any independent artist can sell out and gross 10k!

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
I’ve had so many; touring stadiums with George Michael, playing the Royal Albert hall, Glastonbury… there’s been so many! The best thing about performing to a live audience is when you make that connection with them on an energetic level.

How about three quick questions to give your fans some insight:
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Played 3 shows in 3 different countries in 2 different continents in one day.
