Have you always wanted to be a musician? When did you get the song writing bug?
Yes, I started fully getting into the song writing when I was about 18. Before that I was always into music, I grew up playing guitar and piano, as well as singing every point I could but it wasn’t until I started going to clubs and being surrounded by so many amazing artists that I really got into Djing and then later down the track producing and singing.

How would you describe your sound? Why do you think people resonate with your music?
Hard to pin point a word for my sound but I do think people resonate with it because it’s real, everything I write is about personal experiences and what I am dealing with at that point in time.

Which artist’s music and/or performance, past or present, inspires you today?
Odesza -their sound is so unique and I love everything that they do.

You’re performing on the Jungle Stage at Sydney’s NYE in the Park Festival, what are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
Playing the 11-12 set, I am most looking forward to bringing in the new year in my home town with everyone at NYE in the park.

What are your long-term aspirations as a music artist and how are you progressing towards them?
I would love to work with some of my favourite artists, continue to pursue my career in the music genre that I love and travel the world playing international festivals including EDC and Coachella.

With that in mind, what piece of advice would you give to an artist starting out?
Stick to what you are passionate about so every day you work, you absolutely love it. Don’t listen to any negative comments. Don’t be shy to network and ask everyone around you for advice. Most importantly have fun 😊

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? What’s been the career highlight so far?
The feeling of sharing music you love and you have created and watching the audience reactions is out of this world. It makes me so happy.
My highlight would be playing Cloudora music festival In Malaysia for NYE to 8000 people.
