Hey Now! No need to wait any longer Smash Mouth fans, because the Californian rockers have returned down under for another Australian tour. Since their last tour of Australia in 2013, fans have eagerly been awaiting the band to bring their unique sound Down Under once again.

.

At approximately 7:30pm, to open the exciting show ahead. Area 7 took to the stage to entertain the audience prior to the main act of the evening, Smash Mouth. The Australian Ska/Punk band, performed some of their biggest hits ‘Nobody Likes A Bogan’ and Start Making Sense’. The brass section was astonishing. The punchy horn lines definitely got the audience on their feet, pumped up for the show ahead.

At 9pm, the chanting began… “SMASH MOUTH, SMASH MOUTH ”. Suddenly an unpleasant, eerie sound filled the room. The sound was climactic, transferring the audience into the unique world, known as Smash Mouth. As the band entered the stage, the mosh went absolutely insane. ‘Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby’ was the opening song of the night, followed by Pacific Coast Party’. Hyping up the mosh, Steve’s interaction with the audience was captivating.

The set list was filled with fan favourites and the bands biggest hits. Smash Mouth performed their cover of War’s, Why Can’t We Be Friends’, adding their unique ska-punk sound to the song. The mosh went absolutely insane for this song! There was not one person seated in the Enmore.

Finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for. The band concluded the night with their Neil Diamond cover of ‘I’m A Believer’ and fan favourite, ‘All Star’. Both songs featuring in the movie Shrek, the humorous crowd held up images of the Shrek characters during these final songs. The crowd bouncing simultaneously to the beat of the songs, the finale of the concert was most certainly the highlight of the night! Fans were extremely reluctant to say goodbye to the band, the chanting continued.
