Raging Flowers debuts her self-titled EP, unveiling it hot on the heels of her first two singles, “Can Someone I Love Love Me Please” and “Procrastination.”

Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Raging Flowers wears many hats—a singer-songwriter, producer, and former software engineer who also added professional Muay Thai fighter to her eclectic resume. With this EP, she ventures into a musical exploration of her multifaceted self, delving into themes ranging from hyperactivity and dating woes to the journey of inner healing.

The EP’s lead single, “Can Someone I Love Love Me Please,” offers a witty perspective on the trials of seeking love and connection. It’s been embraced by audiences and received widespread airplay across New Zealand, even climbing to the impressive third spot on the Te Ahi Top 10 chart by RDU 985.FM on April 2, 2024, as voted by listeners.

Following suit is “Procrastination,” an indie-rock anthem characterized by raucous vocals, dynamic electric guitars, and pulsating synths. This track has found favor with online indie rock curators and secured a spot under the wing of the esteemed Australian sync licensing company, Midnight Choir.

The EP’s latter half unveils two heartfelt ballads, showcasing Raging Flowers’ vulnerability and emotive depth. Infused with delicate jazz harmonies and classical instrumentation, these tracks weave tales of introspection and emotional resonance, all while maintaining an accessible allure.

Featuring tracks like “I Thought I’ve Let Go of You” and “Hello Baby,” the EP serves as a testament to Raging Flowers’ prowess as both a musician and a producer. Each song is a testament to her talent and vision, all recorded and produced by the artist herself.

With the EP now unleashed, Raging Flowers eagerly anticipates sharing her music with live audiences. She’s gearing up for a series of live shows, including a special live-to-air radio performance on the day following the release at her local station, East FM. And already, plans are  brewing for another EP set to grace ears towards the year’s end, promising even more musical revelations from this dynamic artist.
