RUNNING TOUCH

Releases New Single

“Equaliser feat I.H”

Melbourne’s Running Touch has today released his new single “Equaliser featuring I.H”. Premiering ‘Equaliser’ last night on triple j Good Nights, the new track was written and recorded by the mysterious and elusive anonymous artist in his home studio – combining new and old Running Touch music to generate a delightfully bass-heavy ear-worm in true Running Touch style.‘Equaliser feat. I.H’ is available from here.

Running Touch explains, “Equaliser was birthed at Melbourne’s “New Guernica” where I overheard the term being passed around for it later to be coined in to a drink. This record was what came of spending most of this year accumulating and experimenting demos in my studio. This was originally a freestyle demo I created for Instagram called “A Thousand Years” (It’s still there). A completely haphazard tweak led to me terraforming the song and it being pulled out of the “maybe” pile amongst the 20 odd demos I had. From there, from its creation, amendments, mixing and artwork… I would have never known how much would have to go into it.”

Running Touch released his debut EP ‘A Body Slow’ earlier this year hitting #1 on iTunes Electronic album charts and #9 overall. Closely following his EP release came a huge 15 date AUS/NZ headline tour, selling out every show across the country in a matter of weeks, including 1600 tickets in a few days across two Corner Hotel shows in Melbourne.

A multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, vocalist, lyricist and forward-thinking visionary – Running Touch transitions seamlessly between genres, aliases and art forms proving himself as an ‘artist’ in every sense of the word. Renowned for his live performance –  A hybrid between a one-man-band and electronic act – he combines his talents as a guitarist, pianist, bassist, vocalist and dancer to create a beautifully weird and exceptionally wonderful live-performance as seen on prestigious stages such as – Splendour in the Grass, Groovin’ The Moo, MTV ‘Beats and Eats’, Beyond The Valley, Listen Out, For The Love, Your Paradise Fiji, Southbound Festival and SXSW to name just a few.

Recent international successes have included supporting the likes of global-heavyweights ODESZA and ZHU, some huge collaborations to come with a number of household names and his first major TV sync coming through on Netflix’s hugely successful US-series ‘RIVERDALE’,

What’s next for Running Touch? “Pushing what I’ve been working on throughout the year into the ether! From videos to a new live show, to new music and a few new collaborations, I’m itching for 2018! “
