As we head towards the end of another tumultuous year, Spacey Jane continue to serve up flavoursome morsels to keep our spirits high, this time in the form of new single “Lunchtime“. Premiered globally as a Zane Lowe World First on Apple Music 1 earlier this morning, the single and video are available for your consumption now.
Celebrating their recent release “Lots of Nothing” with huge hometown shows in WA, including Perth’s acclaimed Red Hill Auditorium, the beloved four-piece are stoked to be giving crowds a preview of new material.

Calling in the greats, “Lunchtime” is seasoned with mixing magic from Grammy Award- winning music producer Rich Costey. Known for his notable work with The Killers, Phoebe Bridgers and many more, Spacey Jane now take a seat at the table.
As fans have grown fondly familiar with, the single stands true to Spacey Jane’s trademark catchy yet lyrically deep musical offerings. Layered with signature guitar riffs and vibrant soundscapes, “Lunchtime” satisfies our Spacey cravings.
Lead singer Caleb Harper talks through the themes of the new track; “I wrote this song while experiencing severe hangover anxiety and feeling extremely hopeless. It’s fun to juxtapose fast upbeat instrumentation with somber lyrics and themes. I’m trying to explain how I feel like I’m just going through the motions with love, career, friends and family. I felt like everything was just happening because it had to and not because I cared about it.”
