Back for it’s highly anticipated second year, Strings Attached: The West Australian Guitar Festival is bringing together Players, Makers and Enthusiasts of the stringed- persuasion for a weekend of guitar-fuelled entertainment in Margaret River this October 8th-10th.
Featuring many of Australia’s most prominent guitarists and luthiers, the 2021 Festival will offer live performances, exhibitions and demo’s from guitar makers, retailers, gear manufacturers & distributors, plus workshops, masterclasses and panel Q&A’s with artists and luthiers in what is set to be an enormous conversion of guitar nuts and music lovers from around the country.

Initial artist announcements for the 2021 festival include “Australia’s best roots music artisan” (Rolling Stone) Jeff Lang, Aussie music royalty Josh Cunningham (The Waifs) & Felicity Urquhart (with 4 ARIA wins, 12 ARIA nominations and 13 Golden Guitars between them), WA Music’s reigning Best Bass Player Grace Barbe, fusing tropical beats with complex polyrhythmic bass lines, 12- string fingerstyle shredder Jordan Mac plus many, many more.
Performers, presenters and exhibitors will be continually announced over the coming weeks, with the full program (numbering over 80 events at the last festival) out in August.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
