Melbourne’s powerhouse producer Swick today unveils a new club and pop gem “Decisions” feat. Kota Banks, joining the family of releases to be featured on his forthcoming mixtape Court Composer, out soon via NLV Records.

The primary producer on Sydney artist Kota Banks’ recent acclaimed PRIZE mixtape, Swick’s enduring precision in delivering unpredictable club-leaning tracks consistently leaves dance floors spellbound. “Decisions” is no different, diving into addictive bass hits, playful synths and matched with sugar-dipped melodies executed by Banks’ vocal prowess and infectious charisma. The track explores the relatable stages of an on-the-verge relationship, leaving both parties torn about where they stand and what comes next. Slightly slower and more emotive than his previous releases, the lyrics thrive with R&B elements that point to Swick’s diverse musical directions.

The single comes hot on the heels of Swick’s latest high energy release “1000 Shots” feat. Merky Ace and formidable “Hydration” feat. Nina Las Vegas, which saw endorsements from triple j and Spotify alongside international praise with plays on BBC Radio 1, Beats1 and an addition to UK’s Reprezent A List rotation. Accompanying the track on Swick’s forthcoming Court Composer mixtape will be last year’s slime-drenched single “Slopes” feat. Tkay Maidza & Capo Lee, and last year’s track “Polo Love” feat. Spank Rock. Together via Court Composer, the releases are set to once again electrify the dance community and affirm his status as a serious contender in the electronic music scene.

With blazing originality exceptional across all boards, Swick’s career has seen collaborations with the likes of Diplo, Major Lazer, Tkay Maidza, Spank Rock, Nina Las Vegas, Capo Lee and more. His sonic finesse has been lauded since his collaborative EP with Diplo, Keep It Gully, featuring the B-side “Dat A Freak” which formed the basis of Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” ft. Pitbull and Iggy Azalea. His ever-exciting production has also featured extensively across Swedish Rapper Lilla Namo’s saucy new EP Beep Beep, Nina Las Vegas’ most recent Lucky Girl EP and a Charli XCX remix for “5 in the Morning” with Nina. Meanwhile,“Decisions” provides testament to the magical chemistry between Swick and Kota Banks, already showcased on her new PRIZE mixtape.

Swick supported Diplo on his Australian tour last year, playing alongside Post Malone, Anna Lunoe and Nina Las Vegas to packed pavilion-sized venues across Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. He also performed at a string of NLV Records parties earlier this year alongside his electric label mates. Now Swick will be taking his colourful production to Japan this September, touring alongside Nina Las Vegas after supporting Kota Banks in Melbourne as part of her PRIZE Mixtape tour.
