Fresh off the back of their impressive performance at Download Festival, Melbourne rock outfit The Beautiful Monument proudly announce a headlining run of shows down Australia’s east coast in support of their Greyscale Records debut single ‘Deceiver’, which just this morning was added to rotation on triple j. The track has received critical acclaim since it’s release with Don’t Bore Us saying
“Opening with a crushing riff that evokes the raw-power of early-00s hard rock, cradled with a haunting vocal passage that builds into a bonafide pop punk inflicted chorus, ‘Deceiver’ is an undeniable mission statement of emotional vulnerability and redemption for The Beautiful Monument.” While Maniacs feel “The Beautiful Monument are quickly outgrowing the shackles of ‘Local band’.”
Between the overwhelming support the band have had from the fanbase they’ve spent the last few years building, and the flood of new fans they have garnished over the last month, The Beautiful Monument are itching to get on the road and on the stage, and show Australia just a taste of what the future holds.

Joining The Beautiful Monument on this run of shows is After Touch out of Shellharbour in NSW. The band formed in 2014 with the goal of escaping their small town and taking the unknown road, and in 2018 with their release of You Wish This Was About, the band quickly became a household name with their modern take on heavy emotional music mixed with electronic flourishes and an exploration of string arrangements to create a sense of atmosphere and darkness under the banner of After Touch.
