Joining The Delta Riggs on the road are very special guests Tiny Little Houses, Bec Sandridge, and Eliza & the Delusionals. The ‘Unscramble Your Lids’ tour will see the Aussie mover and shakers perform to crowds in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and with a stellar lineup of local talent, promises to be one of the band’s most exciting tours to date. With each of the carefully selected supports brining their own flavour to the run of shows.

An instant fan favourite and with its stomping beat and danceable energy, ‘Out of Place’ focusses on the importance of real, candid human connection in a digital age, and the unhealthy disconnect that is implicit in purely online relationships.

The track follows a similar narrative to previous single ‘Fake That’ which served as a wake-up call for an age where Insta-fame, AR, and #fakenews dominate our digital realm. This sincere approach to songwriting saw ‘Fake That’ score a high rotation add on triple j leading into a sold out national headline tour, and clock up over 300k streams across platforms in just three months,.
The new tracks follow the band’s acclaimed 2016 album ‘Active Galactic’, featuring the hit single ‘Baddest Motherfucker In the Beehive’ which has stacked up over 1.5 million Spotify streams since release. The Delta Riggs have also cut their teeth on some impressive live shows, having supported Foo Fighters, Kasabian, and Primal Scream, plus performing at Splendour In the Grass, Groovin’ The Moo, and Festival of the Sun.
Despite modern pressures, The Delta Riggs have stayed true to themselves. They’ve remained busy on the road, meeting and performing for real people, listening to their stories and creating genuine connections. It’s these stories, mashed with sweat, swagger, and guitars that has influenced the band’s fourth self-produced record, due for release in 2019.
