Album Highlights: 

#1: Dua Lipa ‘Future Nostalgia’ – In its 108th week in the Top 50, Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia moves back up to claim a third week at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Released in March 2020, the British pop superstar’s second album originally hit #1 in its third week. It returned to the top spot in mid-March 2021. The album’s third chart triumph comes off the back of the release of the Australian Tour Edition, a new pressing on green vinyl. Dua Lipa’s Australian tour occurs in November. Future Nostalgia also tops the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.

#3: Harry Styles ‘Fine Line’ – Following on from his headlining slot at Coachella last weekend (and again this weekend) that was streamed worldwide and included a guest appearance from Shania Twain, Harry Styles climbs six spots to #3 with his second album Fine Line. His self-titled debut has jumped #15 to #17. Styles’ third album, Harry’s House, is set for release on 20 May. ‘As It Was’, the new album’s lead single, is at #2 this week.

#10: Tyler, The Creator ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’ – Tyler, The Creator’s sixth album Call Me If You Get Lost returns to chart this week at #10 on the back of its issue on vinyl. Released in June 2021, it peaked at #2 in its first week on the chart. It recently won Best Hip-Hop/Rap Album at the Grammy Awards.

#11: Kirsty Lee Akers ‘Wild’ – Australian country singer-songwriter Kirsty Lee Akers takes out her highest ever debut on the ARIA Albums Chart as she hits #11 with Wild. Akers’ sixth album comes four years on from Under My Skin (#29 Aug. ’18). This week, Akers has made multiple appearances during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Wild tops the Australian Artist Albums Chart this week.

Singles Highlights:

#1: Jack Harlow ‘First Class’ – American rapper Jack Harlow takes out a second week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with the track ‘First Class’. The second single from Harlow’s forthcoming sophomore album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, it also hit the top spot on charts in the US, Canada and New Zealand.

#18: SUPER-Hi ‘Following The Sun’ – In its seventh week in the Top 50, ‘Following The Sun’ by British production duo SUPER-Hi has climbed up four spots to crack the Top 20 for the first time at #18. The single’s previous peak was #21.

#42: Lauren Spencer-Smith ‘Flowers’ – Lauren Spencer-Smith scores the only debut in this week’s Top 50 with the track ‘Flowers’. It’s the Canadian singer-songwriter’s second chart entry following her Top Ten success with ‘Fingers Crossed’ (#8 Jan. ’22), which sits at #47 this week.
