Olivia Newton-John returns to the top five

King Stingray, Diesel and Eminem make debuts

Australian icon Olivia Newton-John, one of the most successful recording artists of all time, has returned to the top five of the ARIA Albums Chart, after her tragic passing on Monday of this week.   

Olivia’s album, Hopelessly Devoted: The Hits, has seen the ARIA Hall of Fame artist take the #5 position on the Albums Chart, while the 14x platinum soundtrack to Grease makes a return to the chart at #8  

Olivia Newton-John was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2002, with global sales of more than 100 million records. She receives the ARIA Award for Highest Selling Album in 1999 with Highlights From The Main Event in collaboration with John Farnham.

Yolŋu indie-rockers King Stingray make their ARIA Chart debut in the top ten on the Albums Chart at #6 with their self-titled first album as well as taking out #2 on the Australian Artists Albums Chart.

Beyoncé retains the #1 spot on the Albums Chart after last week’s debut of Renaissance, her third consecutive #1 album, while Eminem returns with Curtain Call 2 debuting at #2.
