Tornado Club, the widely praised new collaborative project from Elle Graham (Woodes) and Danny Harley (The Kite String Tangle) today return with their new single “Intuition”, the second taste of music from their forthcoming EP ‘Reset’, due for release on July 30.
Fresh off the back of their hypnotic debut single “Something Was Missing” (which was also remixed by Made In Paris), “Intuition” showcases yet again the possibilities and strengths that can emerge when two like-minded and respected artists join forces. Both Danny and Elle’s voices perfectly complement each other while brooding beats and stripped-back instruments pulsate beneath, crafting together an effortless blend of dreamy electro-pop.
“Intuition” was written on the first day of studio sessions between the pair, and for The Kite String Tangle, the day after the end of a long-term relationship lasting over a decade. Danny notes “it worked similar to therapy in a way. It was kind of like processing it in real-time. It forces you to think and makes you more clear about how you’re feeling.”
Both tracks now have firmly set the scene of what to expect from the forthcoming EP, a uniquely curated body of work, brimming with captivating and club-ready production. Set for release on July 30, the EP is available to pre-order and pre-save HERE.
On the EP, Danny adds “My relationship of almost 10 years had literally just fallen apart and Elle was supposed to come into the studio the next day. So I called her up and let her know where I was at and we just decided to go ahead with it anyway.”
Elle continues “We went into that not thinking we were going to release it, it was just music as therapy or just talking it out.”
From there, the duo developed a body of work that felt special and they knew it needed a life outside of the studio walls. The result is the raw and emotive Reset EP, which emphasises the strengths of their respective work and the friendship they have forged in a time of personal heartache and change.
Their journey has been captured in a stunning mini-documentary, shot and directed by Pixelframe available to watch HERE.

About TORNADO CLUB
Tornado Club began work in-person at the tail-end of 2019 before finishing remotely online, unearthing an ongoing collaboration through which they could explore a different side of their respective song-writing.
In their own work, both Elle and Danny are constantly pushing their sounds to the furthest level they can. They’re both inspired by creative evolution, as shown through their craft, but also within the mutual musical and visual influences they share. Both having found success in doing so too, with their projects selling out shows both at home and abroad off the back of ARIA-charting albums and Platinum certified singles.
Tornado Club is not the first time Woodes and The Kite String Tangle have come together – the two have featured on festival line-ups together, The Kite String Tangle aided in the production of Woodes’ debut album ‘Crystal Ball’ last year – nor is it a sign of their respective solo projects ending either. Rather it’s an opportunity for two like-minded producers, vocalists and songwriters to come together, experimenting and teaching one another through the sharing of roles – an unfamiliar and exciting experience for the pair.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
