Is it true that the award-winning blues powerhouse Zee Gachette, whose been selling out shows up and down the East Coast on her latest tour (with duo Z-STAR DELTA), is back this Winter? Yes! Zee’s barely packed up her drum kit, and she’s already re-stringing her Telecaster in anticipation of presenting her new trio line-up to you. Hello Z-STAR TRINITY!
Zee will be performing a riveting acoustic-electric set of her most recognised tracks from full band Z-STAR such as “16 Tons of Love”, Z-STAR DELTA duo favourites “The Bridge Hotel” and “I Put a Spell On You”, as well as classics from her last album “Masochists & Martyrs”, new material and whatever impromptu magic happens onstage! Expect a trip of high octane blues rock psyche soul folk n funk.

This legendary artist is going from strength to strength here in Australia, with her most epic tour to date spanning four months: Z-STAR TRINITY’s Red Train Blue Train tour. The intergalactic trio will feature Beck Flatt on Drums (The Red Paintings, Blues Arcadia, Hussy Hicks), and Boi Crompton on Bass.
During this tour, Zee is teaming up with other Australian women rocking the live scene including:
– Gold Coast Awards ‘Album of The Year’ winners, the phenomenal Hussy Hicks (Lismore, Adelaide and Melbourne)
– Chart-topping, ARIA award-winning rock singer Monique Brumby (Melbourne)
– Rock n Roller Nicole Brophy, with that whiskey soaked voice of hers! (Brisbane and Sydney)
– Awe inspiring guitar prodigy Minnie Marks, ‘nuff said! (Brisbane)
– Blues and soul super talent Karen Lee Andrews (Sydney)
Kicking off at The Lismore City Hall (NSW) with the Hussy Hicks on Saturday 2nd June, and ending at the Full Moon Dance (QLD) on 29th September. With festival performances at; Palm Creek Music Festival, Bello Winter Music Festival, Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, Sydney Guitar Festival, RedFest and Wollombi Music Festival.
