Ziggy Alberts, singer/songwriter, free-surfer & environmental enthusiast from the East Coast of Australia, is set to announce the official release date of his new single ‘Love Me Now’ off his highly anticipated fourth record.

Entirely self-funded and independent, Ziggy’s music has received over 70 million streams on Spotify alone and boasts a rapidly growing grassroots following with over 83 thousand Instagram followers.

Headlining at established music venues through 10 European countries on his summer ‘Tell Me Europe Tour 2017’, Ziggy returned home and released his single ‘Heaven’, closely followed by the ‘Heaven Australia Tour’ where he sold out of some of Australia’s biggest theatres; Astor Theatre, Palais Theatre, QPAC Concert Hall and Enmore Theatre. This has all been achieved with $0 marketing budget and no radio support.

In 2018, Ziggy established himself as a main stage artist at the Byron Bay Bluesfest, playing to a full, swooning crowd of 5,000 people. Playing on the Mojo Stage before household names, Tash Sultana and John Butler Trio, Ziggy gave the crowd an unforgettable performance – a small reflection of what is in store for his upcoming releases later this year, and the upcoming world tour in 2019.

‘Love Me Now’ will be the second single off his upcoming album, following the great success of the first single ‘Heaven’ released in September 2017. ‘Love Me Now’ continues Ziggy’s custom of writing heartfelt stories of personal endeavours and experiences, ocean-side upbringing, environmental issues and life on the road.

‘Love Me Now’ is about the internal back and forth you have when you are going through something with someone close to you. It’s about acceptance in relationships. Accepting where two people are at, at one time, and loving each other for that. Ziggy, Interview with the BlankGC.
