With their appearance at Australia’s favourite regional festival Groovin The Moo fast approaching, Brisbane-based four-piece The Jungle Giants have revealed the eccentric visuals for latest single ‘Feel The Way I Do.’ Currently sitting at over a million streams and reaching #14 most played track at triple j this year, the single is the first taste from the indie outfit since their critically acclaimed 2015 album Speakerzoid.

Director, Nick Maguire who has previously worked as a DOP with the group on several videos including  the ‘Every Kind Of Way’, visually interpreted the curiously abstract yet delightfully melodious aspects of the single. Featuring an oddball spaceman, DIY rave and shaggy rug/cardboard box dancers (yep, you read that right), the clip takes the viewer through a wacky narrative set amongst a ski lodge backdrop.

A seamless creative pairing of songwriting and production, ‘Feel The Way I Do’ was recorded at Empire Studios, the result of frontman Sam Hales’ “5 days a week, 9-5” approach to the musical adventure of album number three. The Jungle Giants have become the poster people for taking creative risks in the studio, as seen throughout the journey from their first EP to triple j feature albums Learn To Exist and follow-up Speakerzoid.

Racking up over 30 million Spotify streams, these releases spurred sold-out headline dates and appearances at all major Australian festivals, including a triumphant early evening set to an overflowing tent at Splendour 2016. Speakerzoid also saw them play shows in LA, New York, Toronto, Austin, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. ‘Feel The Way I do’ continues to mark the band’s key stylistic and musical evolution – a tantalising glimpse into the new record due later this year.
