As the 8th of February approaches, excitement builds for Party In The Paddock at Quercus Park! With just days remaining, preparations are in full swing, and it’s time to map out your weekend adventure.
The Veronicas were officially teased as the ‘Secret Act’ last week via social media post HERE, with hype building around this highly anticipated set at the Paddock. Known for their dynamic stage presence and hit songs, they’re set to deliver an unforgettable performance.
The official PITP ‘24 App is now here! With Set Times, a Festival Planner, Event Info, Site Map and more. Punters can add their favourite acts to their own personalised schedule and plan their perfect Paddock. With set time reminders and festival info notifications, this app puts all the necessary information at your fingertips.

.GETTING HERE
Buses will run to and from Brisbane Street in the City of Launceston and from the Paddock site. Bus tickets and all other available tickets can be purchased on the website. Day parking is on-site for those not camping and a pickup and drop-off zone for those not attending the festival.
Mellow Meadow is a camping experience for families and those seeking a more relaxed festival atmosphere. When you arrive at the paddock, let the gate staff know if you want to be directed to Mellow Meadow. While Mellow Meadow is meant to be a peaceful area, it is still a festival, and the area’s serenity will not be strictly enforced. However, it is an excellent option for those who want to enjoy the festival in a laid-back atmosphere.

KEEP THE PADDOCK PRISTINE
Party In The Paddock is located at Quercus Park, 25 minutes from Launceston in ‘The Heart of Tasmania’ and is easily accessible from Devonport and Hobart. Our home Paddock is a working farmland and deserves all the love and respect we can give it. Here’s what you can do to help…
#BYOBottle We are doing our bit in the fight against single-use plastic, which means plastic bottles of water will not be available at the Paddock. Please remember to bring a reusable drink bottle.
Recycle Centre From 9am – 12pm, find us by The Bullpen. We are here to shed light on the art of recycling! Come through with a bag of mixed recycling and enjoy a free beer/cider on us. Also on Monday morning you can donate your non-damaged camping gear to people in need.
Reusable Cups. Better Cup will be supplying reusable cups! Grab a reusable cup for a small deposit when you first purchase a drink. Swap it out each time you head to the bar for a clean one. At the end of the festival, you can return it and get your deposit back.
Know Your Waste Stream! There may only be 3 bin options on site at PITP but behind closed doors we sort the waste into five different streams. Our dedicated green team handles the on-site sorting of all festival waste, ensuring that the amount of materials sent to landfill is kept to a minimum. Help us make a positive impact by being attentive to where your waste is going. Take a moment to educate yourself, scrape your plate, reduce, reuse and recycle.
Dancefloor Trashmates Each morning at 10AM, The funky, junky trash playmates will traverse the campgrounds!! We know how much you loved being told to clean it up so we’re back on our bikes and coming for you. Powered by our incredible Green Team, we will be dancing around the campgrounds each morning to clean it up and take out the trash.
We don’t want your f#*cking tent! The Paddock is a working farm, not a stunning location, so leaving your tent behind is the worst form of littering. Trashed tents and camp chairs often end up in landfills, so please bring a quality tent and take it home with you.
Clean Campsite Awards! We will scout the camping areas between 9 am and 11 am on Monday to thank those who ensured their campsite was clean and tidy. The cleanest campsites will win merch and tickets for PITP next year! You must be at your campsite with your crew to win!
PITP ETHOS + BE PARTY SMART!
PITP is a community, and we must look out for each other. It’s summer, it’s hot, party time, and it’s easy to forget the basics, such as hydration, eating regularly and rest. Party Smart will be roaming the festival grounds and will help if you or your mate feel a little off. They are here to help without judgement, so please don’t hesitate to contact them or the PITP staff if you need us!
If something doesn’t feel right, act quickly, head to a medical tent, tell security, or tell a PITP crew member. Fast action can save lives, and the various staff around the festival, including Party Smart, and Promed (medical services), are there to help, not judge.
DICKHEAD FREE PITP!
Lastly, questionable behaviour will not be tolerated and may get you kicked out of the festival. If your mate is being a dickhead, don’t encourage them, this is just as bad. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and physical assault. Any festival goers who exhibit such behaviour will be removed from the festival immediately. This includes inappropriate comments, behaviours or gestures that make anyone feel uncomfortable.
